BroadBand Light (BBL) is a non-invasive, FDA-approved phototherapy treatment that uses intense pulsed light to target skin issues like sun damage, age spots, redness, broken capillaries, and acne. Additionally, a Stanford University study demonstrated that BBL treatments can alter the gene expression of aged human skin cells to more closely resemble younger skin at a molecular level. The study found that regular BBL treatments functionally rejuvenate skin by altering over 1,000 gene expressions associated with aging, rather than just masking the effects.
